Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups - all purpose flour
1/3 cup - cocoa powder
1 cup - sugar
1/2 tsp - salt
1 tsp - baking soda
1/2 cup - oil
1 cup - cold water
2 tsp - vanilla extract
2 tsp - vinegar
1/2 cup - semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease the cake pan.
Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, salt and baking soda in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, combine oil, water and vanilla except the vinegar which is added in the final step.
Pour wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine well. Add chocolate chips.
Stir in the vinegar rapidly and immediately pour this in the prepared cake pan and bake for 25 to 30 min.

Remarks

Very easy to make and gives a richer look with melted chocolate bits or swirls.
