Samosa Ragda

Ingredients:

1 cup vatna beans (dried white peas)
garam masala
salt
turmeric
amchur powder (optional)
red chilli powder


Tampering:

oil
hind (asafoetida)
mustard seeds
red chillies
curry leaves


Patties or samosa:

mini samosas / patties


Toppings:

Tamarind Chutney -  Refer to Tamrind chutney in the recipe index.
Sweet Chutney - Refer to Sweet chutney in the recipe index.
Zeera powder
curd (optional)
chopped corainder


Method:

Soak vatna beans overnight. Pressure cook it in cooker with good amount of water. Add salt and turmeric.
In a saucepan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once it starts to crackle add curry leaves, red chillies and hing.
Now pour the cooked vatna beans into the saucepan and add remaining ingredients. Amchur powder, garam masala, salt ( if needed more) and chilli powder. Cook till gravy becomes little thicker and turn it off.

Serve it with tamrind chutney, sweet chutney, zeera powder, curd and chopped coriander.
