Ingredients
5 or 6 - potatoes
3 - onions(finely chopped)
½ teaspoon - cumin powder
½teaspoon - coriander powder
½ teaspoon - salt
fresh coriander(finely chopped)
2 - green chili(finely chopped)
lemon juice
Gram flour

2 tablespoon -oil
1 - onion(finely chopped)
ginger garlic paste
½ teaspoon - chili powder
1 teaspoon - turmeric
2 teaspoon - coriander powder
salt for taste
4 - tomatoes chopped
little water
fresh coriander(finely chopped)
Method
Boil the potatoes until soft. Peel and mash. Add the onions, chili, coriander, spices, lemon juice and salt. Mix well and form into balls.
Mix gram flour, salt and chili powder with some water like dosa batter consistency.
Heat the oil in a wok or deep pan. Roll each ball in gram flour fry the koftas in batches until golden and drain on kitchen towel.
For the sauce, heat the oil and fry the onions until softened. Add ginger garlic paste, spices, tomatoes and water and cook until the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened.
Remarks
Add koftas to the sauce just before serving. Garnish with coriander.
