Ingredients
4 cans black beans
2 green peppers chopped
2 celery hearts chopped
6 carrots chopped
oil
5 cups water
chili powder
salt to taste
1 tsp zeera powder
cheddar cheese for garnish
Method
Heat oil in a pan and add carrots, green peppers and celery. Cook till vegetables are done. Pour the canned beans in a strainer and rinse thoroughly with water. Take half of the beans and grind them to paste. Add water, salt,chili powder, zeera powder, beans paste and the remaining beans to the vegetables and bring the mixture to boil. When the soup is thickened switch off. Garnish with cheddar cheese and serve warm.
Remarks
Serve with any bread, dinner rolls etc.
