Butternut Squash and Pear Soup

Ingredients


1 butternut squash peeled and diced

4 pears peeled and diced

salt to taste

black pepper powder

zeera powder

garam masala

4 cups water

coriander leaves

corn starch powder (opt)

Method

Cook squash and pear in a pressure cooker or on stove top. Cool and grind the cooked mixture to smooth paste. Pour the mixture and water in a saucepan and bring them to boil. Add salt, pepper, garam masala and zeera powder. Boil the mixture till it comes to soup consistency. If the soup is too watery take a spoon full of corn starch powder and add 2 spoons of water to make it a paste and pour this paste in the soup and simmer the stove. Keep mixing till the soup is thickened.

Remarks

Serve with any bread, dinner rolls etc
