Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups chopped dates
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup pistachios
1/4 cup cashews
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon ghee
Method:
Cut nuts into pieces and dry roast in a pan for 1 to 2 minutes on a medium heat. Dry roast poppy seeds for 30 seconds. Put 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and add chopped dates and cook for 10 minutes crushing with spoon until soft and pulpy on medium heat. Reduce heat and add nuts and mix well. Remove and allow it to cool slightly. Rub a little ghee into your palms and roll into a log. Spread poppy seeds on flat surface and roll the log in this. Cover it in cling warp and put it into refrigerator for an hour. Slice it into thin discs.
